Following the instructions below can help reduce discomfort after whitening
It helps keep your teeth bright for longer.
Your teeth may be temporarily sensitive immediately after teeth whitening, so the temperature or ingredients of the foods and drinks you consume may cause irritation.
We recommend that you avoid eating or drinking for about 1 hour.
Right after whitening, your teeth are more prone to staining, so avoid staining foods for at least 24 hours, or 48 hours if possible Please avoid both cigarettes and e-cigarettes.
Be especially careful about staining right after whitening.
Coffee, black tea, green tea, chocolate, curry, red wine, cola, and strongly colored drinks Please avoid these as much as possible, and if you must have them, Rinse your mouth with water after consuming.
If possible, choose foods that are less likely to stain your teeth.
During or after treatment Sensitive teeth symptomsThis may occur temporarily.
In most cases, it gradually gets better on its own over time. If the sensitivity continues or gets worse, please visit the clinic.
On teeth right after whitening When white spots that look like stains are visibleThere is.
This occurs because the whitening speed varies depending on the area of the tooth Temporary phenomenon (chalky appearance)and usually eases naturally over time.
However Whitening does not remove spots that were originally on your teeth.
During whitening We first apply medication to protect your gums, then proceed with whitening. We do.
However, because the gums are soft tissue, it is difficult to seal them completely If a small amount of whitening agent touches your gums, they may temporarily turn white or feel tinglymay occur.
This is usually a temporary response This will naturally return to normal over time, so you do not need to worry too much.
After whitening, you may also experience irritation, such as temporary redness or darkening of the gums. Recovery may take 1–2 weeks or longer.
Whitening is a treatment that lightens the color of natural teeth. It does not work on artificial materials such as composite resin, porcelain veneers, dental crowns, or dental implant prosthetics. For this reason, your teeth should be whitened with their appearance alongside the surrounding teeth in mind. If you want a lighter tooth color, dental prosthetics or composite resin treatment can be done 2 weeks after whitening. (However, natural teeth tend to return to their original color. If you do not plan to continue whitening regularly, we recommend choosing a treatment color close to the color of your natural teeth.)
If you have cervical abrasion, severe sensitivity, gum disease, tooth decay, or similar conditionsWhitening may be uncomfortable or unsuitable for you.
If you have any discomfort in your teeth or gums, be sure to tell your dental care team before teeth whitening.
Depending on your teeth’s original color, the degree of staining, and your lifestyle Whitening results and how long they last may vary from person to person.
The more you have habits that cause staining, such as drinking coffee, tea, or wine or smoking, the sooner the whitening effect may fade.
Checking your teeth every 3–6 months and getting maintenance whitening when needed can help you maintain a bright smile.
To daily life A day full of smiles We hope you have a great time.
